For Week 14's lesson from  A Handbook for New Stoics, the team sits down to discuss the Stoic approach to goal assessment.

This isn't about setting S.M.A.R.T. goals or the like. Instead, we're asked to think about how we're spending our time and energy, and whether our goals are aligned with our virtues, particularly focusing on ensuring we aren't setting goals where: we aren't likely to succeed OR we may actually regret if we do.

What are you spending time or energy pursuing?

Why are you pursuing it?

What are the chances (0-100%) that you will succeed?

How/will that success contribute to a happy, satisfying life?

How might you NOT succeed?
