Elections.

Their results are - ultimately - outside of our control. We can do our part, but do not wield the power to determine the outcome.

How, as stoics in training, can we remain centered, even-tempered, and prepared for the results?

By practicing some of the core lessons of Stoicism: the Dichotomy of Control , Premeditatio Malorum, and a little meditation on our core Nature as humans and our duty to one another - regardless of our opinions.

Take a breath. Don't succumb to the "temporary madness" of anger or elation.
