What if you thought of wine as fermented grapes and cheese as breast milk from a goat? Would stripping those indulgences of their romantic labels or ideas shift how - and if - you craved them as much?

In Week 44's lesson from "A Handbook for New Stoics", you're challenged to see your vices for what they actually are, rather than the fancy label or emotions you associate to them.

This is not to remove all of the joy from them, but simply to take a little more control over what you consume and why...and consumption can go beyond food and drink, but to entertainment, thoughts, emotions...whatever you may occasionally 'over-indulge' or gorge on.

What new descriptions for a few of your indulgences did you come up with? Let us know on Facebook or YouTube!
